Artwalk takes place every Labor Day weekend and kicks off the fall festival season for downtown Ocean Springs! This festival really brings artwork out and into the streets with local artists setting up shop at various businesses downtown and demonstrating their skills to the public! Watch as watercolors come to life right before your eyes and purchase local artisans’ handmade treasures while shopping at some of your favorite downtown boutiques and galleries.
September 19-22, 2019
The 10th annual Mississippi Songwiters’ Festival will be this September 19th-22nd at various music venues in downtown Ocean Springs. Professional songwriters and regional musicians travel far and wide to perform on stages set up on the downtown streets as well as in all of the awesome restaurants and bars downtown. It’s almost like a miniature SXSW! Walk from venue to venue with drink in hand (if you’re in the downtown entertainment district) to discover this bounty of creative culture! Book now to roost with us and start your weekend off right with a cocktail at The Wilbur and meander downtown to drop in on all the fun!

October 6-13, 2019
This coast-wide event culminates in Ocean Springs for its final weekend with a giant sock hop downtown. Poodle skirts and pomade galore invade downtown for a weekend of classic soda fountain fun. Book early to secure a room! Over 8400 vintage cars were registered last year to cruise up and down the Mississippi Gulf Coast! You’ll even see some classic cars parked at The Roost! We love our regular Cruisin’ guests who return every year to join in on the fun!
November 2-3, 2019
Peter Anderson, as it’s called by locals, is THE fall festival in downtown Ocean Springs. This weekend-long fine arts fest is named after the late potter who founded Shearwater Pottery in 1928. This year’s 41st Peter Anderson Fest will have over 500 vendors with everything from fine jewelry, hand carved wood sculpture, abstract art, gorgeous pottery, and more!
